Dear Fellow Lions,
It is with great joy and honour that we welcome you to the 23rd Multiple District 411 Lions Convention, to be held in the vibrant city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania – the Haven of Peace, from 29th April to 2nd May 2026.
The Lions fraternity of Dar es Salaam is privileged to host this prestigious gathering. As we continue advancing Mission 1.5 and celebrating the spirit of Lionism. This convention will offer us a meaningful opportunity to reflect, exchange ideas, and strengthen our shared commitment towards humanitarian service.
In the words of Nelson Mandela, “What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others.” His words resonate deeply with the mission and values of Lions, reminding us why we serve and why gatherings like this are so important.
The 23rd MD411 Convention promises a rich experience, featuring outstanding speakers, insightful presentations, impactful seminars, and practical training sessions. These programmes have been crafted to not only inspire but also equip each of us with renewed knowledge, motivation, and purpose to carry back home to our communities.
Our Organizing Committee is planning and diligently working to ensure an unforgettable experience combining the warmth of Tanzanian hospitality with its vibrant culture, colourful traditions, and engaging entertainment. This convention will be an excellent opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate with Lions from Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Seychelles.
